1 Week Intensive Pottery Course: Winter Holi-clay!

Banish those winter blues with the magic of ceramics!
This intensive 5 day course will introduce you to the foundation forms of throwing along with some fun shapes. You will also explore decorative carving, adding handles and creating foot-rings.
Day 1 - Foundation forms (cylinder and bowl)
Day 2 - Fun shapes! (lemon squeezer, vase etc)
Day 3 - Neriage (throwing with 2 colours)
Days 4 & 5 - Trimming and decoration
This course is suitable for beginners and those with some experience. We will glaze your work but if you would like to glaze it yourself please let us know and we can arrange an additional session (price tbd).

Students will have the opportunity to take home their creations, with items charged by weight at a rate of £0.01 per gram (subject to a minimum fee of £5 per item).
