Class: 4-Week Throwing & Hand Building Pottery Course

What you will learn on our pottery course:
Week 1: During the first lesson of your pottery course, our expert teachers will help you hone your skills. From centering to shaping, experience the magic of transforming raw clay into elegant vessels on the potter's wheel.

Week 2: Elevate your creations with trimming techniques. Learn the skills to shape, carve, and refine your pieces.

Week 3: Explore the versatility of clay with hand building. Experiment with coils, slabs, and pinching techniques to construct unique forms and structures that reflect your personal style.

Week 4: Gain a basic understanding of brush on glaze techniques and how different effects can be achieved by overlapping glazes.

Students will have the opportunity to take home their creations, with items charged by weight at a rate of £0.01 per gram (subject to a minimum fee of £5 per item).

A minimum of 3 students is required for this pottery course to proceed. If we only have 1 or 2 students signed up to the pottery course, they will have the option to convert the first course date to a private lesson at a reduced fee or receive a full refund. Pottery course bookings are otherwise non-refundable.
